How do you feel about Crocheting?

Do you crochet because it’s relaxing? Or perhaps it’s just knowing you can make something beautiful by hand? So my question is this…. Why do YOU crochet? For me personally, I crochet to keep my hands busy. The repetitive motion is soothing to me. I also love making something original and beautiful by hand. As I make each item the yarn flows softly around my fingers and with each stitch something new and intricate is created. Is this how you feel about crochet too? What are you working on? What was your favorite project you’ve completed? I’d love to see them!!! I recently finished a dress. Let’s just say that it didn’t come out exactly like I wanted it to. Here was what it was supposed to look like. And here is my version. (will post soon!) Ok, not gonna even bother posting it. It’s just too darn embarrassing. I think I will just reclaim the rather expensive yarn n chalk it up to … Major fail!!!! Not exactly what I was hoping for, but hey it’s a learning experience, right?
